Dorothy Surrenders Jessy Randall

Wolves, Crows, and Black Bees

Forty of each
they were left out
of the film

one hundred twenty
repulsive creatures
wait

the wicked witch
may still be protected
she may still be saved

brutal as cats in paper bags
or delirium tremens
at night

they will descend
on Dorothy and her friends
they cannot be killed

they are vile, black, and cruel
there is no room for them
anywhere
