The City on the Hill

Poems by Joel Chace have appeared or are forthcoming in numerous print and electronic magazines, including No Exit, Pembroke Magazine, Crazy Horse, Kudos, Porto-Franco, Ninth St. Labs, Recursive Angel, and Pif. Among chapbooks and full-length collections are Twentieth Century Deaths, from Singular Speech Press, 1997; Maggnummappuss (nominated for a 1998 Pushcart Prize) and The Melancholy of Yorick, from Birch Brook Press, 1998. A bi-lingual edition of his poems is being prepared in Romania. Chace is presently serving as a poetry editor for the Antietam Review as well as for the electronic magazine 5_TROPE.
