Joseph Massey recently forwarded a copy of Eureka Slough (Effing Press), which includes the poem "Side Yard" from a past issue of The 2River View. In Eureka Slough, poet and novelist Kevin Killian says, "a startling vision of nature and rain gets hammered into being." The 5X7 handsome, handmade chapbook is available via PayPal from the Effing Press website.

Another book recently received here at 2River is Exit, by Wilson Sherman, packaged with a jam-band/spoken-word/avant-garde CD by Sherman's Poetry Band. Both the book and the CD supposedly expose a coverup, by the automotive industry, of hazardous steering locks.
