2River will enter its second decade in the fall of this year. I've been mulling over an idea to celebrate: 10 Years, 10 Poems. If the idea goes anywhere, there would be a series of broadsides, like the broadside series at the Poetry Center of Chicago, where each poem, along with an illustration, is printed is a limited edition of 10 on archival paper. The cost of such a printing would be quite a bit more than the costs of printing 2RV or the 2River Chapbook Series, so probably each broadside would sell for a hundred dollars. Would people buy? Maybe, especially since the items would be rare, and maybe if they knew that once the cost of printing is covered any extra money would go to a deserving literary organization, such as Words on Purpose here in St. Louis. Anyway, the 10 Years / Ten Poets is just an idea at the moment. But if I go with it, I must commit soon.

At the moment I'm listening to Devil's Playground from the album "Music to Start a Cult To" by Gram Rabbit
